Riot Racing Limited Five-Year Warranty
Effective for eligible products purchased on or after the date this warranty is published and linked or otherwise made available before purchase.
This Limited Five-Year Warranty is provided by Riot Racing LLC ("Riot Racing") for a Riot Racing-manufactured product only when the product page expressly states that the product includes the Riot Racing Limited Five-Year Warranty. It is a voluntary written warranty in addition to any rights that cannot legally be waived.
Who is covered
This warranty covers the original retail purchaser of an eligible product purchased directly from Riot Racing or an authorized Riot Racing retailer. Proof of purchase is required. The warranty is not transferable except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Warranty period
Coverage lasts for five years from the original delivery date of the eligible product.
This five-year warranty applies prospectively. It does not retroactively shorten a different written warranty that Riot Racing expressly provided to a customer at the time of an earlier purchase.
What is covered
Riot Racing warrants that an eligible product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use during the warranty period.
What is not covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear or maintenance items, including brake pads, brake rotors, brake fluid, finishes, and other consumable components
- Cosmetic wear, scratches, color fading, or finish deterioration that does not impair function
- Incorrect installation, bleeding, adjustment, maintenance, torque, or assembly
- Use with an incompatible bike, component, fluid, electrical system, or application
- Crash, collision, impact, abuse, neglect, misuse, overheating, contamination, corrosion, water intrusion beyond the product's stated rating, or use contrary to instructions
- Unauthorized modification, machining, disassembly, or repair
- Damage caused by another product or component
- Loss, theft, labor charges, bike downtime, removal or reinstallation costs, or damage to a bike or other property, except where such exclusions are prohibited by law
- Products not expressly advertised as including this Limited Five-Year Warranty
Riot Racing's remedy
For a valid claim, Riot Racing will, at its option and without charge for the covered remedy:
- Repair the defective product or component;
- Replace it with the same or a reasonably equivalent product or component; or
- If repair or replacement is not reasonably available, issue an appropriate refund of the covered product's purchase price.
The warranty does not create an automatic right to a refund when repair or replacement is reasonably available. A replacement product or component is covered for the remainder of the original five-year warranty period or any longer period required by law.
How to make a claim
Stop using a product that appears unsafe or defective. Email support@riot-racing.com and provide:
- Your name and order number or other proof of purchase
- The eligible product and approximate delivery date
- A description of the suspected defect and when it began
- Clear photographs or video showing the issue
- Any serial number or identifying information requested by Riot Racing
Do not send a product back without authorization. Riot Racing may require reasonable troubleshooting or inspection before approving a remedy.
Warranty shipping
For an approved claim within the United States, Riot Racing will provide or reimburse reasonable standard shipping required to return the covered product and will pay standard shipping for the repaired or replacement product. If inspection determines that the issue is not covered, the customer may be responsible for return shipping and any optional non-warranty repair charges approved in advance.
International warranty shipping is handled as stated in the claim authorization and subject to applicable law.
Legal rights
This is a limited warranty. It gives you specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights that vary by state or country. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions, so parts of the limitations above may not apply to you. Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
